Pizza Day E’erday
Age: 8 years old
One of Pierce’s earliest explanation of his dyspraxia was this pizza analogy.
He told me:
There’s a “Pierce brain” and than there’s my “dyspraxic brain”.
My dyspraxic brain is the side that works out and lifts 20 lbs. weights all the time. My Pierce brain is puny and likes to order pizza all the time.
Even though my brain tries really hard to stay on track, my dyspraxic brain is like this big humongous bully that takes over and controls things because it’s strong and works out all the time and doesn’t take pizza breaks.
